Why do we recommend the JotForm survey tool?

If you are in a hurry, you don’t need to create it from scratch, instead, you can use any of the 10,000 ready-made templates. It also features 100 integrations to 3^rd party apps. Hence, if you are a Zapier user, you can connect it with Jotform to automate the processes.

Additionally, you can use it to create payment forms, generate leads, register contacts, create application forms, sell products, collect subscription fees, and donations. What more would you ask for? If you do not need too many features, you can opt for the free version.

It has one of the best template and theme libraries. One of the major advantages is that it allows conditional logic in which it skips or hides pages based on a user’s answers. 

What we don’t like about the Jotform survey tool? 

What we don’t like is their poor customer service. There was an instance in which my customers didn’t get the required service I had promised them. It was such a bad experience. However, to get the full experience of the jot form, it is important to get a premium account.

Why do we recommend the Typeform survey tool?

This is one of the best free survey tools that you can use to create frictionless forms and surveys. When we started using Typeform, we thought we would need to code, however, we didn’t have to. You can create the forms easily and release them to the necessary audience. 

You can use Typeform for market research, lead generation, business growth, and customer feedback acquisition. Of course, you can customize the form to the design that you prefer most.  In this, you can add custom themes, fonts, and layout as you wish. 

You can easily segment your audience depending on their answers and allow them to skip questions that aren’t relevant. Moreover, it allows complex conditions and logic. The logic feature allows you to add question branching and conditional questions to your form.

Unlike most survey tools, the questions can be paired with images and videos. You can’t miss out on using this Typeform survey tool!

What we don’t like about the Typeform survey tool?

Yes, it has a free plan but is a bit restricted. The paid plans however are fairly okay. The customization may also seem too complex for some simple surveys.

Why do we recommend the WuFoo Survey tool?

At first, we were skeptical about using this survey tool. However, after using it we realized that it is one of the best online form builders for any organization. It is a cloud-based form builder that you can use to create forms for registration, application, contact surveys, data collection, data filing, payment, subscription, and much more. Of course, you can customize the forms to your liking. 

Moreover, you can use the WuFoo form to process online payments using the partners such as Paypal, etc. You can customize the forms to suit your website or brand without having to code. Additionally, it integrates perfectly with Zapier for easy export of the submissions to Google Sheet. It also has conditional logic and branching capability. 

What we don’t like about the WuFoo survey tool?

The downside is that it only allows a maximum of 50 lines in branching and logic. Hence you need to break up the form into multiple forms for everything to fit in. 

At times you can run out of space to add more questions. It somehow looks outdated and clunky as compared to other survey tools.

Why do we recommend Google Forms Survey tool?

I am sure you have used Google Forms to either gather data or send data. Well, it is one of the best and widely used survey tools. What makes it popular is that you can use it to get answers fast, manage registrations, collect email addresses, create a quiz, and much more. Simply upload a photo or logo and the Google form will pick the right colors to complete your form. 

There is no limitation, you can perform any kind of customization on Google forms. Moreover, it allows you to use a wide variety of question options with multiple choices, add dropdowns, images, videos, and much more. The responses you get in the survey are neatly collected in forms.

What we don’t like about Google forms survey tool?

You can only attach a file from your drive, but not from a shared drive. Hence, you first need to save it on your drive to attach it. Moreover, it creates a clone of the file in the drive instead of leaving it that way. It should have a direct reporting capability.

Moreover, it has one of the best customization options that allow you to auto-fill, create a custom end page, and upload a logo. Just like all other free survey tools listed above, you can connect the Zoho survey with the Zapier automation tool.  

You can use the Zoho survey for email campaigns, social media outreach, private group access, and web links. This will enable you to reach a wider audience and collect enough data.

What we don’t like about the Zoho survey tool?

It can be hard to know whether the survey is live. The layout of the themes may be a bit lacking with the interface being a bit monotonous. Moreover, it is complicated to extract individual responses and customize the forms.
